Who are we?
Mayday started back in 1985 operating from a house in Dalegarth Road in Plumstead, then to Victoria Road in Southfield where Terry Ladkin and his cohort Leon opened locks and safes and cut keys. By 1996, the area was becoming run down, so the shop moved to its present location in Plumstead.

In 2001 Terry went to England and Chris took over the business. By this time, Stephan and Anton were the two main locksmiths and Chris attended to electronic security devices. In time, Fazlin became the office manager, Shirley the office assistant and trainee locksmith. In 2009, Salvador and Marlon joined the team, so there are now 3 full time locksmiths and 2 office staff, all fully conversant with cutting keys of any complexity.

So, whether it is a simple 2-lever lock key you require, or a sophisticated, computer monitored access control system, or CCTV for your business that you can monitor over the internet, we have the expertise and the staff to fulfil your needs.
